Sorption, Desorption and Mobility of Microencapsulated Chlorpyrifos in Two Typical Soils

چکیده

The sorption, desorption, and mobility of microencapsulated chlorpyrifos (CPF-MC) in two typical soils, namely, silt loam sandy, were investigated this study. Sorption/desorption experiments carried out by using the batch equilibration method. Results showed that sorption isotherms CPF-MC emulsifiable concentrate (CPF-EC) loamy soil similar. However, a considerable difference was observed (CPF) formulations sandy soil. amounts CPF desorbed from soils four desorption steps decreased sequentially CPF-EC treatments, while remained stable treatments. Hence, sorption/desorption processes mainly controlled affinity to CPF. these affected release rate capsules. estimated vertical columns packed with soils. there leaching column, whereas not vertically mobile column under same conditions. soil, percentage 86.54%, which higher than 73.75% leached treatment CPF-EC.

Effects of chemical oxidation on sorption and desorption of PAHs in typical Chinese soils.

In situ chemical oxidation is a commonly applied soil and groundwater remediation technology, but can have significant effects on soil properties, which in turn might affect fate and transport of organic contaminants. In this study, it was found that oxidation treatment resulted mainly in breakdown of soil organic matter (SOM) components. Sorption of naphthalene and phenanthrene to the original...

Sorption-desorption of flucarbazone and propoxycarbazone and their benzenesulfonamide and triazolinone metabolites in two soils.

Sorption-desorption interactions of pesticides with soil determine the availability of pesticides in soil for transport, plant uptake and microbial degradation. These interactions are affected by the physical and chemical properties of the pesticide and soil and, for some pesticides, their residence time in the soil. While sorption-desorption of many herbicides has been characterised, very litt...

Sorption-desorption of indaziflam in selected agricultural soils.

Indaziflam, a new alkylazine herbicide that inhibits cellulose biosynthesis, is under current development for soil applications in perennial crops and nonagricultural areas. Sorption and desorption of indaziflam in six soils from Brazil and three soils from the United States, with different physical chemical properties, were investigated using the batch equilibration method. Sorption kinetics d...

Sorption and predicted mobility of herbicides in Baltic soils.

This study was undertaken to determine sorption coefficients of eight herbicides (alachlor, amitrole, atrazine, simazine, dicamba, imazamox, imazethapyr, and pendimethalin) to seven agricultural soils from sites throughout Lithuania. The measured sorption coefficients were used to predict the susceptibility of these herbicides to leach to groundwater. Soil-water partitioning coefficients were m...

Evaluation of pyrene sorption-desorption on tropical soils.

Sorption-desorption processes control soil-pollutant interactions. These processes determine the extent of pyrene transport in soils. Understanding sorption characteristics of pyrene is necessary in ascertaining its fate in soil. Laboratory batch experiments were conducted to study the sorptions-desorption of pyrene on eight soils from varying tropical agro-ecological zones (AEZs). The results ...
